FEES

The gate fee is again included in the overall fees and Federal is required to make full payment for all players to the Alice Springs Netball Association prior to any games being played in 2014. Should you have difficulty in meeting the fee payments by the deadline we are happy to discuss a payment plan. We will again accept the Sports Vouchers as part payment of your fees.

From the President

Firstly a big thank you to everyone who has assisted me and the club in preparing for the 2014 season. We are very fortunate to have such capable and hardworking volunteers on the committee who have put in many hours in the preparation of the season and the selection of our teams.

Committee member Kira Tapps has advised she is not standing for re-election at the AGM as she is taking a break from netball to undertake study. Kira has been a tremendous club person over many years including the managing of our uniforms and merchandise, our club representative at ASNA delegate meetings, a team organiser and an umpire. Many thanks Kira for all the time you have put into the club and in particular your meticulous stock control.

We have entered 22 teams in the competition and we will now move on to the 9 and 11 years & under teams that commence 26 April 2014.

I look forward to seeing you all at the Federal AGM 6.30pm Wednesday 5 March 2014 at Club Eastside.

The Alice Springs Netball Association (ASNA) By Laws were recently reviewed at their Annual General Meeting. As a result of this review there have been some changes to the fines imposed by ASNA. Listed below are the By Law fines for 2014;

Unregistered Player

$100 per player

Uncleared player

$100 per player

Failure to supply an umpire

$100 per team

Failure to supply a qualified umpire

$50 per team

Forfeit Fine

Late: $50 per team (teams giving less than 2 days notice) After Wednesday.

Early: No fine (Forfeit notice received prior to 2 days before Match) Before Thursday.

Non Attendance at Delegates Meeting

$100 per club
